About Me

Simon's first degree was in Management Science and with this degree he worked in pharmaceutical marketing at Boots, in the hospitality industry in Australia and with the British Council in Hong Kong. He then decided to retrain as a lawyer and took a law degree before training at the City firm of Wilde Sapte (now SNR Denton). 

He has specialised in Employment Law since 1993, and has been a partner since 2001. In Chambers & Partners Legal Directory, he is rated as a Band One ranked lawyer, stating he is: “head and shoulders above the rest in terms of practicality of advice and understanding things from a business standpoint.” and “Clients praise his excellent guidance across a range of employment issues.”

The Legal 500 UK guide to outstanding lawyers nationwide names him in the elite ‘Leading Lawyers’ list. In the main guide, they say: “Fenton is praised for a unique combination of depth, breadth and awareness.”

Simon was recently selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in the United Kingdom© 2015 in the field of Employment Law.
